The surroundings and the climate:

Our properties are mainly between Petalidi and Koroni. You can find this area on the most southern spot of the western Peloponnese.

This beautiful area of the province of Messinia is hilly and very green. This area has a lot of traditional villages, many good beaches and has not been discovered by mass tourism.
This area has also unique walking possibilities.

The capital city of the province of Messinia is Kalamata, this town is about half an hour drive from Chrani.
In Kalamata you can find everything you would expect from a bigger city.

The Peloponnese has a lot of archaeological sites. Here you can find Ancient Olympia, Mystras, the Canal of Korinth, the theatre of Epidavros, etc.

The spring time is magnificent.
The entire nature starts flowering and the result of this is an outstanding variety of wild flowers.

The summer is of course warm with an average temperature of 30-35 degrees Celsius.
The beaches do invite you then for a cooling swim.

The autumn and the winter do have lower temperatures and also there is rainfall.
